If you use the following best weather widgets, you can see the weather forecast directly on your taskbar or Windows desktop.

With either Interests or Widgets , the information is available from the Windows 10 taskbar and will expand to provide more information with weather information. If you prefer installing Windows 10 weather desktop gadgets instead, then you can skip to the next section. On Windows 10, select the Interest section of the taskbar to open the Windows 10 interests window.

Select the Gear icon and select Manage interests. Note : On Windows 11, select the Widget icon on the taskbar and select the Add widgets button. This will open the Microsoft Interests search page.

In the search field, type Weather. This will display all of the available weather interests. You can also search for RSS feeds , news and interests of any type if you prefer. News widgets are very popular as well. Scroll down the list and select the Interests you want to add. Note : On Windows 11, you can search for Weather widgets in the previous window before you select Add widgets. Even with that window closed, Windows will display the weather conditions as a taskbar widget in the form of a small line of text in your Windows taskbar.

Hey I know hoe frustrating it is but there is this tool called ViveTool, There are two commands you need to do in the command prompt with this tool here is the two commands. My source is 7 Enable the News and Interests panel in Windows 10 – YouTube , This video should help a lot also if you type vivetool in youtube you should find a lot more, you might need to re run this tool periodically as it will turn off after some time.

I know how frustrating this may be for you. If you want to add weather app in the lock screen follow the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: Turn on notifications in PC Settings. This should be on by default. Open the Settings Charm. Tap or click Change PC settings. Tap or click Notifications. Slide the Show app notifications and Show app notifications on the lock screen switches to On. Step 2: Add the Weather app to lock screen notifications Open the Settings charm. Tap or click Personalize.

Then under Choose an app to display detailed status, tap or click the icon beneath it and select Weather. Check if it helps. The pages appear to be providing accurate, safe information.
